We are excited about the LINC-ConnecTech merger and excited for the year to come!
We had two transitional planning meetings this month. The first meeting brought together the board members of the two groups and the second meeting was open to anyone interested in being involved in a leadership position in the newly merged LINC-ConnecTech group.
Merged Board Meeting
At the January 12th meeting, the two boards merged and had a successful meeting. A new president, vice president, and chairperson were elected to the board. Additionally, the needs of the organization were evaluated and committees, along with committee chair positions, were created.

Leadership Meeting
The January 19th leadership meeting was also a success, with a great turnout. There was a short presentation on the merger and the committees that had been created (
see powerpoint slides for more information). Then everyone broke-out, by interest, into the committees for short planning meetings. After the meeting, several people met up at the Michigan Brewing Company for socializing, drinks, and food. It was great to connect with everyone and we are excited for the successful year ahead!
The committee chair positions will be finalized at the next board meeting.

We plan to keep mixers at their normal time- the last Thursday of every other month (the even numbered months). We look forward to seeing you at the next mixer on January 25th at 5:30 - 8:00 pm at the Radisson Capital City Grille. Don't be a stranger!
